Well the last week of may has arrived and I have now been home for a little over three weeks and enjoying my first summer home from college. In the past couple weeks I have started volunteering at sequoia hospital in the Pre-op unit. I am enjoying it so far and the people are super nice.In July, I will be going to the Little people of America conference in San Diego with my dad which I am looking forward to.After that consists of the traditional summer trip up to Spokane,Washington. This will definitely be a busy but really fun summer. Let me know if you think I should continue to do these next year.

Happy April,
This will be a short blog. Hope you all have a good Easter. Three weeks plus final week and then I am done. I will be going to Spokane for Easter and I am very excited.The weather is beautiful this time of year it is sunny and warm. See you in May

March: month 7
Hi everyone,
Sorry that I am late for a march blog. March was a great month for me. March 29th was my birthday. I turned twenty during our spring break. I got to go home and spend my birthday with my grandparents and family and friends. I only have less than a month left until finals and than summer break. This means that my freshman year of college is almost over. How can this be true. It has gone by so fast. If there is one thing that I have learned over the course of the school year if I haven't learned it already is that there really are tons of people out there who love and support me and I can't say it enough how much I appreciate everyone. See you soon.

February 2014
Hi, Everyone
I feel like so much has happened and I have learned so much so far this month. As I am writing this It is the Tuesday before Valentine's day. Every year on February 13th, I remember how on that February 13th,2001, I had my leg surgery which allowed me to walk more than a couple feet. To me its a big deal that it will be thirteen years on Thursday.
We had our first "big" snow this past week which was really exciting for everyone. Especially because they canceled classes due to the possibly dangerous roads. This school year has gone by so fast. It's hard to believe that in five weeks spring break will be here and then the year will be over shortly after. With that said. I want to say thank you to everyone who has prayed for me or reminded me of their kind thoughts and wishes thus far. It really means a lot to me.
For those who don't know I am taking my first social work class this semester and am getting so excited for what the future will have for me. I'm constantly learning about different fields that social workers are part of and it is so amazing.

January:month 5,start of a new semester

Wow can you believe that it is 2014! I hope everyone had a great christmas and is enjoying their new Year. I certainly did. I returned back to school last sunday and am halfway through the first week of my second semester of college. Hard to believe, I know. I am taking a bunch of fun classes and some not so fun but you do what you gotta do. I am taking my first official social work class this semester which is really exciting because it means that I am one step closer to getting my degree. If there is ever anything in particular that you want me to blog about just let me know.

Merry Christmas everyone
Can you believe it next week my first semester of college will be over. Do you remember the first blog I wrote back in December. I find that I have become a little more independent since August. It has been a great experience so far being in college and figuring out what works and what doesn't. Like what to do or not to do when flying by yourself. A week from tomorrow,friday, I will be home and ready to be in my native environment as some might say. I had my first today and it went well. It was my acting final which was pretty easy. Next week I have the rest of my finals. Wish me luck.
I can't wait to see everyone back home.

November Month 3: a different type of vlog
Happy November everyone,
This blog is less about what is going on and more about my thoughts and feelings during this time of the semester and calendar year. November is my one of my favorite months of the year. I like how everyone thinks about what they are thankful for. Lets just say I have a quite a few things to be thankful for this thanksgiving.
Starting college has given me a whole new perspective on family and friends. Even being away from home for four months which is only about a month longer than I do during the summer. I have found that I miss everyone like crazy. Not that I don't miss everyone in the summer as well. I am
Having visitors spread out between october and november has really helped me to keep going and not miss family and home too much. I am super excited to spend thanksgiving in spokane where some family is. However I am also excited to spend christmas back at home as that will have been the first time being home since August.
